The alliance will allow for the incorporation of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in one of Santiago's most relevant corporate hubs, with access for building users and the general public.
Santiago, June 24, 2026.- Copec Voltex, a Copec subsidiary dedicated to developing charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, announces the installation of three 7.4 kW chargers at the CCU Building, located at Avenida Vitacura 2634, Las Condes, in the heart of the El Golf neighborhood.
The initiative is being developed in partnership with CBRE, a world leader in commercial real estate services and investments and the building's property manager, and represents a concrete step forward in incorporating electromobility solutions into the corporate office segment.
These new charging points will be available to both building users and the general public, expanding the supply of infrastructure for electric vehicles in an area with high corporate and urban activity. Charging will be carried out through the Copec app, allowing users to access the service and the benefits of the Copec ecosystem in a simple and convenient way.
The project's location is especially relevant, as the CCU Building is situated in one of Santiago's most active corporate corridors, in an area with high circulation of executives, visitors, and workers. In this context, the incorporation of charging infrastructure responds to a growing need to enable electromobility solutions in spaces where people spend a large part of their day.
"This alliance reflects our commitment to bringing electromobility closer to the spaces where people work, meet, and move around day to day. Corporate buildings play a key role in this development because they allow electric charging to be integrated naturally into the users' routine," said Tomas Vicuña, B2C Electromobility Sub-manager at Copec Voltex.
For his part, Fabián Fuentealba, Head of Sustainability & ESG for CBRE Chile, noted: "We are very happy to be part of this initiative together with Copec Voltex and the CCU Building, as it represents a concrete step in our commitment to electromobility and building a more sustainable environment. At CBRE, we promote the incorporation of this type of infrastructure in corporate assets, contributing directly to reducing the carbon footprint and to the transition toward cleaner and more efficient cities."
Meanwhile, Nicolás Pérez Crespo, Operations Manager of the CCU Building, pointed out that the agreement entered into by CBRE with Copec Voltex will allow building users and the general public to have a new charging option for their electric vehicles, directly contributing to reducing pollution from various combustion sources. In addition, he added that "this new amenity makes the building even more attractive to future users, so we are grateful for the completion of this project."
With a power of 7.4 kW per unit, the chargers feature universal compatibility for electric vehicles and remote management technology, which will optimize their availability and operation. With this project, Copec Voltex continues to advance in the expansion of its charging network in corporate and high-traffic spaces, consolidating office buildings as a key point for the development of urban electromobility.
