The partnership allows for the decentralization of electric vehicle charging infrastructure by incorporating it into new residential projects. The first charging point will be located at Condominio Binder, in Puerto Varas, which is in its final stage of construction.
As part of its commitment to innovation and sustainability, Copec Voltex, a Copec subsidiary dedicated to developing electric charging infrastructure, announces a partnership with Inmobiliaria Altas Cumbres for the installation of an electric vehicle charging point at Condominio Binder, located in Puerto Varas.
This initiative is the first step for both companies to continue incorporating this equipment into future residential projects by Inmobiliaria Altas Cumbres in the cities of Puerto Varas and Llanquihue. For Copec Voltex, it allows them to continue strengthening their electromobility decentralization strategy and bringing charging infrastructure closer to more communities outside the Metropolitan Region.
“This collaboration with Altas Cumbres represents a step forward in our goal of democratizing electromobility, making it easier for more people in the regions to access efficient, safe, and sustainable charging solutions.”
“We are proud that our residential projects are pioneers in incorporating this equipment, which responds to new forms of mobility and contributes to the responsible development of our cities.”
The new charging point at Condominio Binder will feature smart technology, universal compatibility with electric vehicles, and a remote management system that optimizes its availability. Users will be able to easily access the service through the Copec app, which allows them to view charger availability, start charging sessions, and make payments digitally.
The signing of this alliance is part of a joint effort to accelerate the adoption of electromobility in mid-sized cities, where the demand for electrical infrastructure is growing steadily.
With this new point, Copec Voltex consolidates its presence in southern Chile, strengthening its national reach and reaffirming its commitment to the development of more sustainable and connected cities and communities.
